Of the many types of internet marketing tools that are available today, email marketing is considered as something unnoticeable or unrecognized by many players in the internet marketing field as well as most business small and large business owners. Although this is the cases, email marketing is still one of the most terrific ways of generating essential leads for a particular website. Leads are important for a particular site and individual businesses; leads can be converted into potential prospects and they are considered as the lifeblood of the business site too.

The following are some helpful and the best email marketing practices you can make use of to help you achieve success and prosperity in your current business.

1. Use Incentives or what is also called ethical bribe. This kind of email marketing practice is quite effective as the incentives that you will be making will definitely heighten up open rates to as high as fifty percent. Say for example, you can simply offer a free, ebook, software or free shipping incentives if the customer $50 worth of your products or simply “get a new iPod when you….” are just some of the ways to offer incentives to your target customers.

2. Use Fewer Typefaces or popups. Simplicity is beauty. This applies best even in the act of email marketing. The simpler and the lesser clutter your email comes up with, the more talks you will get. As much as possible, never ever make use of more than two or three typefaces and one popups to maintain the readability and good appearance of your email.

3. Position Call to Action and Main Message Above the Fold. If you happened to have positioned your message just below the fold then it is more likely that about seventy percent of your prospective targets won’t be able to see it. Another thing is that you also need to repeat your call to action messages two to three times all throughout the email.

4. Maintain an Email with 500 to 650 Pixels in Width. If you decided to exceed the required 650 pixels then you are requiring your prospective clients to scroll horizontally so as to see your entire message. This should always be avoided.

5. Your Logo Should Stay at the Email’s Upper Left Side. According to studies, when people tend to read marketing letters or messages, they would often look at the upper left side of the message or letter in hope of seeing the business logo of the person who sent the message. So the next time you create email marketing messages, make sure to place your logo at the upper left side of the message.

6. Subject Lines Should be Well-Written and Compelling. Always remember that a subject line should not be lower than thirty and more than fifty characters. It should suggest urgency and should tell people what they expect once they open the email.

7. Make Use of Auto Responders. This is especially true to those people who have forgotten to opt in. Auto responders will remind people that they have opted on your email database. There are free and paid versions.

8. Test Your email Marketing Message. Send it to a friend or an associate in your business. If they determine your call to action easily then your email marketing practices is good to excellent.

120x600 smiley reduce pass How To Find a Niche How to find a niche

What  is ”niche marketing” . Niche marketing is marketing to a small segment of a market . Usually this market is underrepresented. It is usually a sub class of a larger market or a specialty if you will.  The idea behind this is that when someone searches, specifically for a product, the niche will fill that need. The search engines always try to match keywords with a higher rate of match with a 100% match the ultimate goal. The closer your niche is to the keyword search the better chance your site has of being seen, read and ultimately a new shopper or client from the site. It is marketing that is more zeroed in on a specific product.

Niche examples are countless. We could go on and on listing what examples of niche are. It could be photography, book publishing , parenting , computing and so on .Examples of niches can be rather than an automotive parts site an automotive site that deals with Volkswagen convertible top replacements, or even a Volkswagen parts site .The convertible top site is very specific. Again  a potential customer searching for a Volkswagen convertible top will probably use those keywords in their search rather than a broader term like Volkswagen parts.

Another example could be ‘’Pet Shop” . If you were looking for a air pump for an aquarium would you key in pet shop or aquarium air pump on your Google search? Most of us a fairly specific in our searches. And this is what a niche market or niche market website is about. Creating a business, store, service website that matches ,exactly what a potential customer is looking for and taking advantage of Google search terms.

I know sounds great but where can you get ideas for niche marketing? There are a few different ways to find niche markets .

Many people will tell you Google trends is the best tool . While Google trends is an effective tool my preference  is http://www.google.com/insights/search/

If you use this tool what you will find are .

You can search by country. This is important because if you are searching for a product to market in The USA and you didn’t use this search it might give you a false reading. Maybe lots of people are buying this product but they are buying it in say South Africa. And you are selling bulk herbs that are not permitted to enter that country. Your marketing effort would basically be useless if you went ahead with the proper stats to make your decision .

Another important stat to beware of  is ‘’number of searches. I have seen people look up ‘’highest paying Google keywords’’ and expect to make a gazillion dollars only to find their sites rarely visited. A high paying keyword always has lots of competition and sometimes the niche  is so narrow the visitors are few and far between.  This is why number of searches is important.

Google insight will also break down your keyword. Maybe you think your keyword is already zeroed in on a particular market .Google Insight can tell you if you are correct. Giving you more options on niches that most of us would have never thought of.

More idea on how to choose niche is to use some major market place like and books:

EBay

Amazon

Magazine

And  in fact your own area of specialty. Tools like Micronichefinder is also a useful resources that you could use to research whether a chosen niche is profitable one or not. TheMicronichefinder software is capable of choosing a niche for you and saves you hours and days of research required to choose a profitable niche.

Niche marketing can be a very profitable internet venture but like many ventures, It can only be successful with proper research.

Mentors for internet marketing come in all shapes and sizes . You should beware of just choosing one because they say they can help you. Online mentors are similar to picking out a lawyer or a doctor .While there are many lawyers and Doctors many are not suitable for you. Just like lawyers or Doctors ,mentors have their own personalities, schedules, opinions of what ‘help” is and most important time for you. There are different fields for mentors also, make sure the one you choose is in the field that you want to pursue. Does your mentor have time for you? find out, now before you contract with him. Will he get on the phone with you? Answer your questions? Return your messages? If the answer to these questions are no , beware!

First you need to find out what form of communication you will have with your mentor. Is your mentor in your time zone? If your mentor’s idea of communication is conference calls but he is in a different zone you might not be please with midnight or five am conference calls!
If the communication is bad it is irrelevant how successful the mentor is without good communication their expertise is useless. Waiting a week to get a message answer will not lead to success.

So now that you find out you do have communication what is the mentor saying? Some mentors are on a constant sales campaign, after you have signed up the offers to spend more money with him just keep coming. Is the mentor helping you or just trying to sell you? Before you sign up with him does he have other offers that you will probably need to buy? If so beware this mentor is his own mentor ,with your money!!!

Use caution in choosing a mentor, just like choosing any other professional and if you see any of the warning signs listed above, beware!

Make $100,000 in 24 hours get-rich quick stuffs are on the rampage on the internet nowadays, you only need to beware!

See  My Bitter Experience!

Personally i have had horrible experience with some of  those so called business mentors. There was one, for confidential reason i will not mention his name. This scammed run a 24 hours television station on sky T.V, you may have seen him before, yourself. This man has his unique style of buying you into his over hype coaching program. All he does is get some crafty marketers like himself to promote his coaching program by conducting question and answer interview session on TV. Sequentially, people will phone in, give FAKE testimonies about how great the man training program is and how they have used this mentor -ship program to buy two houses and they are buying a yacht by the time they launch their next project. What a heck is going on, is it that easy to make money as they have claimed? You would give answer to this question by the time they rake between $2,000 to $10,000 from you, without even replying to single email from you, in spite of his huge initial promises. Why was i particular about this? Of course , i happened to fall victim. My debit and credit card emptied, i was subjected to unrealistic dreams and i was left heart broken in the end without making a dime!

You have read my story, haven’t you? From your opinion do you think i am gullible? Please leave your comment
